Details: The holiday spirit had a chance to spread its wings this week, when EKFH Board Members Wes Rogers and Colin Sinclair dropped in to Falkins Agencies to celebrate their early leadership gift of $11,000 for the A Clear View ~ digital mammography campaign.

The generous gift was provided through a joint contribution of Falkins Agencies and Gore Mutual Insurance which also arrived in time to light the third star of the Starlite Campaign.

“With a predominantly female staff we felt that our donation to the efforts of EKFH’s to purchase a digital stereotactic mammography unit made perfect sense,” explains Bob McGill, Chief Executive Officer of Falkins Agencies.

This is just one of many charitable programs that the Falkins team undertakes. Annually they raise approximately $15,000 to build two houses for underprivileged families in Nicaragua. In January 2012 they will begin their 7th and 8th houses. The second major project was through the efforts of their employees to raise $10,000 for the Haiti relief effort which was matched by the Canadian Government for a total contribution of $20,000. Charity may begin at home but it definitely also makes a difference to world causes.

EKFH graciously thanks Falkins Agencies and Gore Mutual Insurance for being leaders in the digital stereotactic mammography fundraising effort, to make your own gift please visit www.aclearview.ca.
